Delete your RestoVenue account
This page explains how to delete your account for RestoVenue Owner (the RestoVenue app for restaurant owners and managers) and the RestoVenue web portal. RestoVenue is provided by VENUEFLOW LLC, 252 Atwells Ave, Providence, RI 02903.
Option 1: Delete your account in the app
- Sign in to RestoVenue.
- In the app, open More → Profile. In the web portal, open My Profile.
- Choose Delete my account, confirm your password, and type DELETE.
Option 2: Request deletion by email (no sign-in needed)
If you can’t sign in or prefer not to, email support@restovenue.com with the subject “Account deletion request”. Send it from the email address on your RestoVenue account and include the name of the restaurant you work with.
Verifying it’s you: before acting on a request, we may confirm it by replying to the email address on the account or by asking you to confirm details about your account. We will never ask for your password. Don’t send your password or payment details by email.
What is deleted
Your sign-in, your profile details (name and phone number) and your access to every restaurant you were added to.
What is kept
Deleting your account does not currently remove:
- the restaurant’s records, such as reservations, guests, private party and catering inquiries, call records, menus, website content, invoices and operational history, including records you created or changed;
- messages you sent to coworkers, which still show your name as the sender;
- AI assistant conversations you started in a restaurant’s account;
- your employee record (such as name, email and phone), if a restaurant created one for you;
- an internal account number attached to past activity, and a note that an account was deleted. The note doesn’t include your name, email or phone number.
To ask about removing any of this information, email support@restovenue.com or contact the restaurant. Your colleagues’ accounts are not affected.
Facebook and Instagram connections
If a restaurant connects a Facebook Page or Instagram professional account to RestoVenue to publish posts, we store: the Page and Instagram account names and IDs, an ID Facebook assigns to the person who connected them for RestoVenue, an encrypted access token, who connected the account and when, and a record of each post sent (image, caption, destination, status and the post’s link or ID on Facebook or Instagram).
To disconnect: a restaurant owner or manager can choose Disconnect on the Social page in RestoVenue, or you can remove RestoVenue in Facebook under Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites). Either way, we delete the stored access token straight away and RestoVenue can no longer post to that account.
To request deletion: when removing RestoVenue in Facebook, choose to send a deletion request, or email support@restovenue.com. Facebook shows you a confirmation code and a link where you can check the request’s status. We delete access tokens immediately; the request is shown as received until the rest of the connection records have been reviewed and handled, and then as completed.
Disconnecting or deleting does not remove posts already published on Facebook or Instagram — delete those on Facebook or Instagram directly. The restaurant’s own record of past posts may be kept as part of its operational history, as described under “What is kept”.
If you are the only owner
For safety, the only remaining owner of a restaurant cannot delete their account. Transfer ownership to another authorised person first, then delete.
